Instructions

STEP 1: Make the Cheese "Buns"

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Use a standard ceramic muffin tray.

  3. Shred the cheese and mix together.

  4. Add ~2 tbsp shredded cheese to each muffin cup, spreading evenly.

  5. Bake for 6–8 minutes, or until edges are golden and centers are melted together.

  6. Let cool in the tray for 3–4 minutes before gently removing to a wire rack to crisp slightly.

STEP 2: Make the Beef Patties

  1. Increase oven temperature to 400°F (205°C).

  2. Lightly grease another ceramic muffin tray (or clean the first one).

  3. Divide ground beef into portions to match the cheese “buns” and press into the muffin cups.

  4. Sprinkle with sea salt.

  5. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until cooked through. Drain excess fat if needed.

STEP 3: Cook the Bacon

  1. While patties cook, heat a skillet over medium heat.

  2. Cook bacon until crispy, then drain on paper towels.

STEP 4: Assemble the Sliders

  1. Place a cheese “bun” on the bottom, add a beef patty, top with a bacon slice (cut to fit), then finish with another cheese “bun.”

  2. Serve immediately and enjoy.

OMG! I love burgers, and this is just the perfect versions. I thought it would be really oily with the cheese, but it wasn’t!
